Paul Heyman Acknowledges Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania Main Event Record

Paul Heyman has not been on WWE TV since June 2024, when Solo Sikoa and his group attacked him after he refused to call Sikoa the new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. Even though Heyman hasn’t been on screen, he’s been backstage at WWE events. He still shows support for his Tribal Chief when it counts.

WWE Hall of Famer recently praised Roman Reigns for holding the record of nine WrestleMania main events, which is the most of any superstar. Heyman responded to a tweet by @dillongarland highlighting this milestone.

He also noted that while he’s been part of nine WrestleMania events, one was as a commentator at WrestleMania 17, which he doesn’t count as a main event role.

He noted, “Thank you @dillongarland, I very much appreciate your astute observation. I must, however, not accept #WM17 as me being involved in main event simply because as a commentator, it’s not a “main event attraction position.”

Then he explained, “But who else in my position has accomplished EIGHT Mania Main Events? And I say that, only with the caveat that I get to ACKNOWLEDGE @WWERomanReigns‘s astonishing NINE @WrestleMania main events!”

When could Paul Heyman return?

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has been a key part of the Bloodline storyline. Following a prolonged hiatus from WWE TV, fans eagerly await his reappearance, especially now that the original Bloodline has come together.

Recently, Heyman teased fans at The Big Event convention in Long Island, saying he’d be back “soon enough.” During a Backstage Pass Q&A, Bill Apter shared that Heyman has been backstage at WWE shows but hasn’t appeared on TV yet.

Apter stated, “Paul Heyman was at The Big Event convention this past Sunday in Long Island, and that was the question that everyone was asking. His answer was: ‘Soon enough.’ So he is, from what I understand, I haven’t seen him, but he is allegedly backstage at all the TV shows right now.”
