Paul Heyman Believes CM Punk’s WWE Return Was Meant to Happen

Paul Heyman is the one WWE employee who really backs CM Punk. Heyman has been crucial to Punk’s success since his 2005 introduction. When Punk left in 2014, it was a big deal. When he returned last year, he achieved record-breaking feats in just one session. “The Wiseman” believes that tPunk’s return was meant to be because of the love he gets from WWE.

As CM Punk’s one-year mark in WWE gets closer, fans have mixed feelings. Some are happy to see their Best in the World, while others wish he had more matches. However, Paul Heyman, on the other hand, gave Punk a lot of respect and likened his trajectory to that of a rebel who faces obstacles and succeeds.

At Fanatics Fest NYC, The Wiseman said, “It’s destiny, really, CM Punk is back where he belongs, and that’s on top in WWE. Like any other rebel.”

Heyman added, “He had to go through h*ll elsewhere as well, and everybody can see it and hear it and know about it and sit there and go, ‘My god, will somebody please one time give this talented man the platform that he deserves?’”

He is, without a doubt, still a very gifted and captivating performer. The 59-year-old is overjoyed that “Straight Edge Savior” now has the opportunity to really shine.

The Wiseman is proud of CM Punk finally getting his due

Continuing his comments in the interview, Paul Heyman expressed his pride in CM Punk, who finally received the recognition he deserved. He believes that years of struggles have finally rewarded Punk’s original talent since he is at his home now.

He said, “Now, truly for the first time, he has a chance to step out from the h*ll that he’s been going through and, of course, again, having to pay his dues in front of the world.”

Paul added, “He came back months earlier than any doctor could have predicted because that’s how badly he wanted to get back into the mix and on top in WWE.”
