Paul Heyman Kisses CM Punk, But Where Was Roman Reigns’ Jealousy? It Was There, But Invisible

The Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins has officially been confirmed for WrestleMania 41, with all three signing contracts on the recent SmackDown episode. It was quite unusual compared to WWE’s regular traditions. Instead of chaos, it was filled with dramatic moments.

However, one aspect of the story stood out: Where was Roman Reigns’ jealousy when his Wisemen confronted CM Punk? You might not have noticed it, but trust me, it was in his laughter.

We don’t have to look too far back to see how jealous Roman Reigns can get when someone else gets close to Paul Heyman. Currently, after Roman, CM Punk is the person closest to Heyman.

We’re talking about the March 10th Monday Night Raw episode when Paul Heyman comforted Punk after his loss to Seth Rollins in the steel cage match. When Roman noticed that after destroying Seth Rollins, the unmatched drama with jealousy unfolded right in front of us.

Last night on SmackDown, the crowd at the O2 Arena in London witnessed something similar. Roman’s wise men comforted Punk, telling him that he was going to make his dream of becoming a WrestleMania main eventer come true.

While saying this, the special counsel not only comforted the best in the world but also hugged him and even kissed him with pure emotion. However, Roman Reigns hid his rage this time, unlike during the March 10th episode of Raw.

However, it was evident in his caustic laughter. It was evident that he did not appreciate the manner in which Paul Heyman expressed affection for the Sin City Saint. Until the end of the show, the crowd thought Roman might react strongly. However, he didn’t.

Roman Reigns didn’t see this coming

What surprised the Tribal Chief the most in that moment was when CM Punk revealed that becoming a main eventer at WrestleMania 41 wasn’t the favor he had asked from Paul Heyman. This means the mystery remains to unfold—a pure cinema moment.

Roman thought that being in the main event was the favor Punk had asked for. He didn’t question it and tried to play it cool, hiding any of his insecurity. But now, he’s vulnerable and angry, realizing that maybe Seth was right all along.
