Paul Heyman Lays Out The Process of How He Would Book Logan Paul to Ensure It Won’t Affect His Career

WWE is now more about telling stories than just showing exciting moves in the ring. Recently, storylines like Bloodline vs Bloodline, McIntyre vs. Punk, Roman vs. Rhodes, and Rhodes vs. Owens have been fans’ favorites, which always adds extra impact during their fight in the ring.

WWE’s most popular manager, Paul Heyman, has acknowledged the storyline surrounding the booking process for major events. He has shared his decision-making process to ensure it doesn’t negatively impact a wrestler’s career, referencing Logan Paul for the booking of Wrestlemania.

On Logan Paul’s podcast “Impaulsive,” Paul Heyman talked about how important long-term storytelling is. He explained that he would not focus solely on Logan Paul’s immediate future but rather on a multi-year arc.

He said, “My question would be, who is Logan Paul’s opponent for WrestleMania 42, and more importantly, who is Logan Paul’s opponent for WrestleMania 43?” He further detailed his approach, stating that he always starts with the story’s conclusion and works backward.

Heyman added, “I have never written a script or answered an idea without knowing the final page.” This way, every action and moment is planned to reach a clear goal, but there’s still room for surprises.

Bill Apter shows respect for Paul Heyman’s SmackDown performance

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently praised Paul Heyman for his great performance on WWE SmackDown. Apter, speaking on the Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk podcast, especially liked Heyman’s reaction when Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga from The Bloodline showed up behind him.

He said, “The look of terror on Paul Heyman’s face was priceless. You could frame that photo.” Heyman’s ability to convey genuine fear and surprise added a layer of authenticity to the storyline, making it a standout moment of the show.
