Paul Heyman Opens Up About Sleepless Night Before the Dramatic Promo with Solo Sikoa

Last year, when Roman Reigns was absent from the ring, it was something unforgettable. Up until Solo Sikoa took “Ula Fala,” their storyline took a dramatic turn, all thanks to Roman Reigns’ one and only Wiseman, Paul Heyman, who made those moments even more special.

If you consider it one of the best moments of that time, obviously everyone would pick that single Smackdown promo where Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as tribal chief with too much purity and intensity. Recently Heyman explained how he looked so dishevelled during that promo.

Heyman, known for being very careful and dedicated to his work, shared that he made himself look tired and messy on purpose to make the scene feel real. On Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, the “Wise Man” said he only slept for 90 minutes the night before to show he was stressed and make the audience believe it.

He added, “Didn’t shave for several days. Didn’t wash my hair for several days. Took the stuff that washes the dye out of your hair so that more gray showing. I wanted the aging process, for a week, to be really defined. Ate like s**t for a whole week, like stuff that would upset my son.”

Paul Heyman praises Cody Rhodes’ work ethics

Cody Rhodes has shown even more commitment to WWE after beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, and Paul Heyman noticed it. On the same podcast with Logan Paul, Heyman praised Cody for his hard work. He called Cody a “commerce facilitator,” meaning he helps WWE make money.

Paul explained that Cody will do whatever it takes, like going to Detroit to help sell out shows. He’d even do radio shows early in the morning or at night if needed. This shows how much Cody is willing to help WWE.

Heyman said that Cody’s work isn’t just in the ring. He helps sell WWE’s tickets and merchandise, like t-shirts, weight belts, and signed replica title belts.
