Paulo Costa, who has been away from the UFC for almost a year, is gearing up for his return. In anticipation of his upcoming bout against Ikram Aliskerov, the Brazilian fighter recently shared a video highlighting his enhanced physique.
The highly anticipated UFC 291 event is set to take place on July 29 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah headlining a clash between Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier, as they fight for the BMF championship belt. Part of the main card, ‘The Eraser’ will face off against the promising middleweight prospect.

The Brazilian fighter, who made a successful debut in the UFC in 2017 by defeating Garreth McLellan via first-round TKO, continued to impress the MMA world with a decent comeback win after suffering consecutive losses.
Costa secured victories over notable opponents like Oluwale Bamgbose, Johny Hendricks, and Uriah Hall. The Eraser’s aggressive fighting style and knockout power earned him recognition as an emerging star in the middleweight division.
In his pursuit of UFC gold, Costa earned a title shot against Israel Adesanya at UFC 253. However, he fell short in that bout, and a year later, he suffered another defeat against Marvin.
Despite these setbacks, Costa rebounded with a win over Luke Rockhold last year. Currently holding a record of 14 wins and 2 losses, with an impressive 11 victories by knockout, the 32-year-old fighter is now preparing for another high-level clash in the octagon.
UFC fans cast doubts on his physique and fight opponent
However, Costa’s physique show-off wasn’t quite appreciated by his fans. Many even started to doubt whether he took any illegal substances to get in shape.

Another user thinks that secret juice will not make any difference for Paulo as he said, “Bigger muscles make you slower. Secret juice speeds you up.”
