Before that national event, he became a hot topic after a video surfaced online showing him having a long conversation on a flight with Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald and GM John Schneider.

The video even showed flight attendants asking Carroll to return to his seat. After this, MLFootball speculated on Twitter that Carroll and the Raiders might be planning to trade for Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith.
