PGL Copenhagen is going to be the first CS2 tournament this year. The regional qualifiers are done, and we have the final roster for 2024’s first majors.
A total of 24 teams will fight it out for glory in three qualifying rounds. The final is scheduled to take place in the Royal Arena indoor stadium, where you can watch the action unfold live.
Everything you need to know about PGL Copenhagen Major 2024
PGL 2024 is scheduled to run from March 17 to March 31, 2024. The total prize pool is $1.25 million, out of which the winners will net a cool $500,000.
24 teams have qualified from four different regional tournaments. There are 17 teams from Europe through its two tournaments, A and B. Five teams qualify from America, while the Asian regionals have two teams.

We will get the new champions through three different rounds. The opening round will feature 16 teams playing for eight qualifying spots. Those who qualify here will join eight teams already qualified in the elimination round.

The playoffs will consist of eight teams. All elimination matches will feature the best of three formats, while the group match will feature the best of one.
Which teams are best suited to take home the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 trophy?
Team Spirit has already won the Intel Extreme Masters 2024 in January. Meanwhile, Vitality, Navi, Faze, and Virtus.Pro have already won the Blast Spring Group regionals.
The recent form makes all of them a strong challenger for the Copenhagen Majors in 2024. In addition, the likes of Faze, Team Spirit, and Vitality are already invited to the elimination stage. They still have to play well to progress, but this is an indication of their recent good results.
