Danny Amendola, known for his NFL career with the New England Patriots, showcased his impressive fitness during the ‘DWTS’ finale. When he danced shirtless on stage with a prop bed at age 39, he looked like he was still in his prime.

This kind of physical fitness isn’t easy to keep up; it takes commitment and hard work. The transition from football player to dancer shows how much work Amendola puts into remaining fit after retiring.

A typical Danny Amendola workout includes jogging, muscle training, and stretching. He lifts weights 2–3 times a week, sprints twice a week, and drinks a gallon of water daily.  His diet includes steak, fruits, pasta, and protein shakes.

A big part of keeping his muscles flexible and avoiding accidents is doing yoga. Moreover, he watches dance performances and movies to enhance his skills on the dance floor.
