Possibility for Carlos Alcaraz to face Novak Djokovic in final? looking at 2023 Wimbledon Men’s Singles bracket

With only 22 more matches till the anticipated Wimbledon 2023 finals, some fans are taking wild guesses about the top qualifiers. Not only have they seemingly decided that these are the players who would be playing in the finals, but have also started taking sides between the legendary Big 3 member and the new-age young Spaniard.

The world number 1 and 2 are the match that tennis fans seem to be anticipating the most. While Carlos Alcaraz is aiming for the second Grand Slam title of his career, Novak Djokovic is targeting to break records for his 24th Grand Slam title and 8th Wimbledon title. Going into the fourth round of matches this week, Nole and Charly look right on track to meet at the Wimbledon 2023 finals.

World no 1 Carlos Alcaraz in perfect position to face Novak Djokovic in Wimbledon final

In the French Open, this duo went up against each other but the match did not display the best of either player’s complete power and abilities. Charly was down with cramps and attempted to resume his play after a medical break. Soon after this, it was evident that anything less than the best will probably not be enough to compete with the legendary Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic played his third round against the Swiss favorite, Stan Wawrinka. Keeping up with his streaks, Djokovic defeated Stan just as he expected, in straight sets. Nola hasn’t lost one set in the three rounds of Wimbledon and is currently on a winning streak!

Carlitos on the other hand, has been pretty much equally dominating this year, even with his injuries. Just a couple of weeks back, he bagged the Queen’s Club title in his first-ever career tournament on the grass surface. This win hopefully gave the young Spaniard a massive boost before starting at Wimbledon

Nole won the French Open finals against Casper Rudd that week. Following this, Alcaraz’s win at the Queen’s Club quickly brought down the Serbinator’s seed rank. So, they look to be in the perfect position in the draw to face each other again in the Wimbledon finals.

Carlos Alcaraz to break Novak Djokovic’s winning streak at Wimbledon?

The Djoker has been making records back to back, for the last couple of years. At Wimbledon 2023, the 36-year-old is currently on a 42 matches winning streak. More astoundingly has not lost a match in the center court for a decade

With Charly also looking to be at his prime, getting better on the grass surface with every match, he could potentially be the one to break this streak.
