Hamlin, a defensive player for the Bills, went down in the game after attempting a tackle on the Bengals’ Tee Higgins. Since he experienced a sudden collapse and was unable to get up, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a heart attack. The 24-year-old was taken to the intensive care unit, and a family stated his condition is critical.
The game was momentarily halted following Damar’s cardiac collapse as players from both teams panicked. On the field, the young player was promptly given CPR.
