After being the highest point scorer in NBA history, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James has received another reason to celebrate.
On February 7, the Lakers forward accomplished the most difficult feat in NBA history by surpassing another Lakers guard, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, in league scoring. LeBron has had a few happy moments since then, and he attended the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Last night, Lebron got another news occasion for extending the celebration of his son’s achievement.
What did Lebron James’ son achieve?
The United States men’s basketball team has announced its roster for the Nike Hoop Summit in 2023. James’ eldest son, Bronny James, was named to the roster for the first time in his playing career.

On his first opportunity to represent the national team, Bronny’s father became delighted and, as usual, shared the news on Twitter, writing, “Yessir!! Congrats Young 🤴🏾Bronny!! Proud of you kid! Keep going #JamesGang👑”

Previously this year, the 18-year-old was named to the McDonald’s All-American team and followed his father’s career. King James also shared his joy on Instagram at that time.
Bronny is now playing for Sierra Canyon, a prestigious private school, in addition to his studies. However, it appears that the elder son will follow in his father’s footsteps, despite the enormous pressure that comes with being the son of a Lakers legend.
The four-time NBA champion is quite typical of humans when it comes to fatherhood; he became overjoyed at his son’s achievements and was protective of them. But he never misses an opportunity to praise them on any occasion.
The younger son, Bryce, is also a student at his brother’s school currently and is becoming another basketball enthusiast.
What do you think of Bronny James’ achievement? How could his future journey be in the basketball world? Share your thoughts with us.
