Une situation inacceptable.
Tout mes pensées vont pour la famille et les proches de Naël, ce petit ange parti beaucoup trop tôt.— Kylian Mbappé (@KMbappe) June 28, 2023
Several French players also stood by Nael and his loved ones during this torrid time. The FC Barcelona superstar, Jules Kounde expressed his anger after this catastrophic incident. He said “A 17-year-old young man was shot dead at point-blank range by a police officer for refusing to comply during a check. This is the reality of the situation and it is dramatic. As if this new police blunder was not enough, the continuous news channels are making a big deal out of it.” He went on and took a dig at journalists by saying “Sets disconnected from reality, “journalists” who ask “questions” with the sole aim of distorting the truth, criminalizing the victim and finding extenuating circumstances where there are none.”
