The FBI has launched an investigation into an extortion attempt against Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White and his family.

The statement said that White and his family have been subjected to “illegal and defamatory threats and demands.” It added, “Illegal and defamatory threats and demands against Rachaad and his family will be met with zero tolerance.”
They said that they would continue to exercise all legal avenues to protect Rachaad’s rights as a victim of extortion.
Rachaad White’s role in Buccaneers’ offseason plans amid roster changes
As Rachaad White starts his fourth NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are making changes to stay strong. His role might change since Bucky Irving is becoming a top running back option.
One big concern is the wide receiver. Chris Godwin might leave in free agency, and if he does, the team needs to find a new one.

The offensive line is another problem. It struggled last season, and with several players leaving, the Bucs must rebuild it to protect their quarterback and improve the run game.
For White, this offseason is important. He has run for over 2,000 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in his career, but with more competition, he must keep proving himself.
