Plum is playing for the Las Vegas Aces after being picked as a first-overall choice in the 2017 NBA draft. Since then, she became the WNBA champion, WNBA all-star team member, and all-star game MVP in 2022. In the meantime, she played for Turkish side Fenerbahçe during the offseason and won the Turkish Cup and Turkish Super League twice.
On the other hand, the groom, Waller, couldn’t draw much attention like her newlywed wife. Due to a substance use violation, he got a year-long suspension while playing for the Baltimore Ravens.
Later in 2018, he moved to Las Vegas and continued his NFL career for the Raiders. However, his last two seasons were obstructed by regular injury and despite his fitness issue, the franchise offered him an extension contract, making him the highest-paid tight end in the league.
