Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has confirmed that the Premier League Champions will be in the market for additional reinforcements.
One of the biggest transfer deals building up tp the new season is Erling Haaland joining Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund. A player who is touted as the future of the sport, he will no doubt add more fire to an already incredibly strong Manchester City line-up. Pep Guardiola ahs played a lot of last two seasons without a recognized striker. City were in the market for Harry Kane but that deal never fell through.
However, with the signing of Haaland, City have sent a statement to their rivals that they are going to be challenging for top honors in the seasons forthcoming.
City have also signed striker Julian Alvarez from Argentinian side River Plate. Alvarez is currently on loan at the same side. He is expected to gradually be assimilated in to City’s team.
While it is true that City have been very proactive in the transfer window, chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has confirmed that the door is open to further reinforcements
Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak: “I can confirm that there will be more players coming in this summer”. 🔵 #MCFC
“We’ve in Haaland the best number 9 in the world – Julián Álvarez, one of the most talented strikers in South America… and there will be more signings”.

“I can confirm that there will be more players coming in this summer. We’ve in Haaland the best number 9 in the world -. Julián Álvarez, one of the most talented strikers in South America… and there will be more signings”.
The prospect of City being stronger should strike fear in their rivals in both England and Europe. The team is incredibly good even without the likes of Haaland in it.
City have won last 4 of the 5 Premier League titles, but the elusive first Champions League trophy has evaded them still. Haaland and co will be out to bring the trophy to The Etihad.
