Baltimore Ravens Head Coach, John Harbaugh, has caused a stir among football fans by not ruling out the chance of star cornerback Marcus Peters making his way to the team, despite shoring up the cornerback position by signing Rock Ya-Sin.
Marcus, the first-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2015, was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2019 and later signed a four-year, $9.584 million contract with the team who then picked up his fifth-year option before trading him to the Ravens for Kenny Young and a 2020 fifth-round pick.
The two-time All-Pro was looking forward to hitting free agency in 2020, however, he later agreed to a three-year, $42 million extension including $32 million guaranteed in 2019.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked by the reporters if the Las Vegas Raiders CB Ya-Sin’s arrival eliminates the possibility of signing more defensive backs on Saturday and Harbaugh replied by cryptically saying the move of signing him does not preclude them from making another move involving a familiar face.
“I would say no. I don’t think you ever really close the door on any personnel move. Whoever it might be. You’d probably ask me about Marcus (Peters) and whatever other corners are out there. You don’t close the door on good players and good people, you just see how it goes”, he said.

The oft-boisterous star missed the 2021 season with a torn ACL and managed to appear in 13 games in 2022, having 47 tackles, one sack, an interception, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He also holds the record of amassing a league-high eight interceptions for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 30-year-old inked the mark of 32 career interceptions with six returned for touchdowns, 92 passes defended as well as 11 forced fumbles.
With achievements like this, Baltimore will probably plan something big for Peters, and many fans may eagerly wait to see the veteran star once again glorifying the football field donning their jersey.
While nothing has been confirmed, the possibility of the three-time Pro Bowler returning to the Ravens has certainly generated excitement among fans of the team. Only time will tell if this bombshell hint will lead the promising star to once again don the purple and black of the Baltimore Ravens.
