Real Madrid truly excels at identifying footballing talents from around the world. The aura of Los Blancos is unmatched; it’s a dream for every player to play for Real Madrid.
With its big name and successful history, Real Madrid has attracted generational talents such as Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Touchemeni, and, most recently, Jude Bellingham to the Spanish capital. After capturing the immensely talented Jude, the La Liga giants have their eyes on his brother, Jobe Bellingham.
Madrid scouts assess Jobe for potential transfer
Jobe Bellingham, 18, is the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, who has been in unreal form since joining the Spanish giants. Jobe is also a graduate of the Birmingham City Academy and played for his hometown club, Birmingham City, before moving to Sunderland this summer. Now, the teenager is under the radar of Los Blancos.
Reportedly, the Spanish side sent their scout to watch Jobe Bellingham’s gameplay as he was in action with the England U19 side against Montenegro. The teenager started in the fixture and put in a decent performance in the 0-0 all-square encounter.
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has tasked the club’s chief scout, Juni Calafat, with monitoring the English teenager. Perez is impressed with Jobe and envisions him playing alongside his elder brother at Real Madrid.
There’s a possibility of a Bellingham reunion in Madrid if the scouts are positive about his performance and ability, potentially leading him to land at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The teenager recently joined the Black Cats, emerging as their key player and making a total of 12 appearances in all competitions this season. Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham is also making wonders in his debut season with Real Madrid, scoring 10 goals in as many games and truly living up to expectations.
Ex-England star lauds Real talent Bellingham
The former England and Manchester United star Paul Scholes has showered praise on Real Madrid’s English star, believing Jude Bellingham is better than anything we have seen in football. He also strongly backed Jude’s decision to join Real Madrid.
Scholes said, “I think Jude Bellingham for his age and what he’s accomplished so far in his short career, he’s better than anything we’ve seen.”Â
“It was a really brave move for him but he looks such a driven lad, such a determined lad, such a professional player with so much talent. It’s incredible but he’s got the temperament to go with it. Nothing seems to faze him,” he added further.Â
The 20-year-old has been phenomenal for Real Madrid and is one of the most trusted names in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. Additionally, he is a significant part of the England national team set-up under Gareth Southgate.
