Regis Prograis had a fantastic win against Danielito Zorrilla yesterday night in front of his hometown crowd. However, Regis immediately decided to focus on his next fight by challenging Devin Haney.
In a FaceTime conversation, ‘Rougarou’ had threatened Haney to defeat next. During the conversation, the two boxing youngsters exchanged fiery words.

Regis, who’s pro record currently stands at 29-1-0, is undoubtedly one of finest active super lightweight boxers in the world. During the conversation, he threatened Haney by saying, “I’m going to tell you in front of your dad. I’m going to whip your a**.”

“Don’t get that one performance f***ed up. I’m going to bust you a**. It ain’t going to be like that with you. I hope we see each other next, though.” Regis added.
What “Dream” replied to Regis wasn’t heard but as the undisputed lightweight world champion, he’s looking forward to book his next fight. The 24-year-old boxer, who presently has a perfect 30-0-0 record, extended his winning streak on May 20 with yet another contentious victory.
In a highly anticipated lightweight boxing battle against Vasiliy Lomachenko at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Devin won by unanimous decision with scores of 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113.

Regis Prograis defended his WBC Super Lightweight Championship against Danielito Zorrilla on June 17, Saturday, at the Smoothie King Centre in New Orleans.
As the referees scored the bout 118-109, 117-110 and 114-113 in favor of Prograis, he got his 29th victory as a pro boxer. In the post-fight press conference, Regis expressed how he planned to win.

“I kept pressing the action, but he ran around the whole time. He ran and he tried to survived. He was stronger than I thought and he caught me with some punches, but he just ran around. It was kind of hard to get to him.” Regis said.
However, his promoter, Eddie wasn’t quite satisfied with the fight as he expected more from Zorilla. According to the British boxing analyst, it could’ve been an even better fight if ‘El Zorro’ put up some more fight.
