Reliving Israel Adesanya’s UFC 276 walkout to The Undertaker theme following recent disclosure of his favourite WWE era

Recently, Israel Adesanya dropped a shocking future hint, technically expressing interest in making a few WWE cameos. Izzy did something previously in the UFC 276 that very much demonstrated his love for wrestling.

‘The Last Stylebender’ makes it abundantly clear that he is a huge wrestling fan, and that his favorite era was the attitude era. The recent acquisition of UFC by WWE parent company Endeavour made Izzy’s WWE-style walkout once again a hot topic in the world of combat sports.

Will we see Adesanya’s cross-brand jump?

The UFC middleweight champion spoke with Ariel Helwani about the possibility of joining WWE in the future during a recent interview on The MMA Hour. The Last Stylebender didn’t specifically talk about taking wrestling as a profession but he clearly has an interest in doing a couple of cameos.

When asked if he would like to attempt wrestling after retiring from MMA, the 33-year-old MMA fighter, who most recently defeated Alex Pereira to reclaim his middleweight belt, remained cryptic.

“I’ll come from under the ring or whatever, just appear. I’m this, I’m that; I feel like it’s just not my forte. But I’ll do a few cameos.” Adesanya said.

Middleweight Champ’s insane UFC 276 walkout with Vince McMahon in the house

The Nigerian fighter is known for celebrating his victories in outlandish ways. Adesanya even attempted to make an Undertaker-style walkout at UFC 276.

Since so many well-known WWE stars were present at the time in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the walkout gained even more significance. Izzy wowed Triple H, Pat McAfee, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon by utilizing The Undertaker theme as he left the arena while donning a white hat.

Even lately about a month ago, a lot of MMA fans had mixed feelings about Izzy’s celebration at UFC 287, which was meant to make fun of Poatan. To freeze his Brazilian rival, the Nigerian fighter shot an imaginary bow and arrow to his chest.
