Tom Brady announced his retirement last Wednesday. While most of his fans were shocked at his decision, one person saw it coming as the person was the main influence on him to make the call. The person is no other than his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
Fans were going with all the rumors surrounding the NFL goat. TB12 was getting offers from left and right as he was one of the best quarterbacks, even at 45. Moreover, if Brady wanted to stay in his Buccaneers team, he could have done that too. However, he did not. Tom surprised everyone and came out with his retirement announcement.
Multiple sources, including the US Weekly, now claim Tom Brady made the call as his ex-wife told him to do so.
Why did Gisele ask TB12 to retire?
It is quite obvious why Gisele asked Brady to retire. The man was tired and could not make the call himself as he always thought about his fans. Furthermore, the quarterback never managed to spend quality time with his children. Now that he is retired, TB12 will be able to share the love with his children they have missed for a long time.

Why did Tom Brady keep his ex-wife’s word?
Tom and Bündchen are mature parents, and like any parents who think about their children’s future, the former couple kept in touch even though they were no longer in a relationship.
On the other hand, Brady can count on Gisele as he knows that she will always guide him to make the best decisions. The couple has spent enough time getting to know each other and shares a bond that exceeds any ordinary relationship.
Tom might not make a living from football. Yet his $375 million Fox Sports deal is no joke either. Brady can live a better life with that money and less pressure from fans and haters. So, his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen did guide him to the best decision possible.
