WWE’s SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley wants to continue her rise on the main roster. A top RAW superstar whom she approached backstage after a recent bout was a potential recruit for The Judgment Day.
In addition to this hiccup, Rhea Ripley has been in the news for being part of another unique encounter. At one point during RAW, Rhea Ripley walked in on a conversation between a former WWE champion and Adam Pearce. Her reference to the superstar’s wife was meant to be humorous.
Rhea Ripley taunts The Miz
Following Monday night’s mayhem, it was revealed that Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship in a fatal 5-way match at WWE Crown Jewel. The match, scheduled for November 4 by the general manager, will be one of her hardest championship defenses.
Once again, today’s backstage footage included a humorous interaction between Rhea Ripley, the new “RAW” general manager Adam Pearce, and a third party. You may know this person as The Miz. Actually, it was Mami who cut off the A-Lister while he was bragging to the RAW General Manager.
And obviously, she was not expected to attend the backstage, which surprised both the Miz and the general manager. Miz attempted to interrogate Ripley, but she put an end to it by bringing up Maryse’s taunt. She later gave Pearce the signed contract for the fatal five-way battle at Crown Jewel, and afterwards, she snatched Miz’s pen and ran off.
Once again, it was amusing to watch the look that Miz had on his face when the focus of the camera also started to walk with Mami.
Ripley’s fangirl moment goes viral after WWE RAW
Rhea Ripley was featured prominently throughout the evening’s broadcast. When Jey Uso rescued Cody Rhodes from Judgment Day, she briefly confronted him, following which a showdown with Nia Jax after confronting her Crown Jewel opponents at the contract signing in the ring. With both Adam Pearce and The Miz there, she signed the contract backstage after the show.
Mami’s hilarious taunting of Miz backstage was a wonderful highlight. The Eradicator’s apparent disregard for A-lister in front of the general manager was captured on tape during that particular session. However, the young Mami used to be a huge Miz fan, as seen by an old photograph that went viral of her attempting to strike a fangirl stance behind Miz’s poster. Rhea Ripley’s recent offstage antics are a whole other story.
