In WWE’s men’s division, The Bloodline is the most exciting storyline, while in the women’s division, Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan is stealing the show, especially after “Dirty Dom” betrayed Rhea. Raquel Rodriguez’s surprise appearance on Morgan’s side has made things even more thrilling.
Recently, in WWE NXT, both Morgan and Rodriguez shocked wrestling fans with a brutal assault on Mami, adding even more intensity to this heated feud.
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan’s rivalry at NXT on October 29th became the most vicious brawl to date. SmackDown star Ripley went to NXT to meet stars like Zaria and Jordynne Grace. As she was leaving the show, cameras caught Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the parking lot, holding baseball bats.
Before NXT, Rhea Ripley warned Liv Morgan in a video that if she wanted to stop her, she would have to “kill” Mami. This strong message led Morgan to launch a brutal attack on Ripley.
Two referees rushed over to the scene and found Ripley beaten inside the car, her face covered in blood, pleading for help. They didn’t show the attack, but videos of Ripley’s subsequent bloodied situation went viral.
WWE speaks out on Rhea Ripley’s NXT injury
WWE is gaining attention for it’s use of blood and violence in its storylines. While many fans love the intensity, others worry about their favorite stars’ well-being. But WWE seems determined to keep fans interested by mixing real life with scripted stories.
Corey Brennan from Fightful mentioned that some people in NXT were worried about how terrific Rhea Ripley’s parking lot scene was. He tweeted, “There was some concern internally in NXT about the amount of blood shown during Rhea Ripley’s segment in the parking lot, but it was green lit by ‘a higher power’ on the brand.”
Big names in WWE, like Shawn Michaels and Triple H, approved this segment, demonstrating the company’s desire to intensify rivalries and drama.
