Roman Reigns, CM Punk Stand Tall as OG Bloodline Rules Survivor Series WarGames

The Survivor Series main event finally ended, and fans got an exciting glimpse of the Bloodline Civil War during the WarGames match. Before the match, many wondered if Roman Reigns and CM Punk could work well together, but they proved everyone wrong. They fought as a team and crushed Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline.

The match began with Jey Uso and Tama Tonga showing off their speed and strength. The OG Bloodline faced tough competition from the New Bloodline, especially with Bronson Reed’s power and Jacob Fatu’s heavy hits. But things changed when Sami Zayn entered, bringing energy and taking control.

CM Punk wanted to join before Sami, but “The OTC” didn’t allow it. However, he later forcefully pushed Roman to enter, adding chaos with a toolbox and countering the New Bloodline’s efforts. Solo Sikoa locked Roman Reigns out of the cage for an epic twist.

But Reigns didn’t stop. He climbed back in with a high-flying crossbody from the top. In the end, the Usos landed double splashes, Zayn hit a Helluva Kick, and Punk delivered a Go to Sleep. Reigns ended the match with his spear for the win.

Solo Sikoa took a record number of final moves before being pinned. At the end of the WarGames, the OG Bloodline celebrated together, with Punk and Roman standing tall in victory atop the steel cage.

CM Punk and Roman Reigns form an unlikely bond during WarGames

The tension between CM Punk and Roman Reigns was clear from the start of the Survivor Series WarGames match. Reigns showed his attitude by helping everyone stand—except Punk. At one point, it appeared as though they might turn against each other.

Then their ‘Wiseman’ aka Paul Heyman stepped in, urging unity with a powerful reminder: “It’s WarGames!” His plea set the tone for what came next. Surprisingly, WWE used Heyman’s moment to officially kick off the match, which caught everyone off guard.

The turning point came in the match when Bronson Reed attempted his finishing move, “Tsunami,” on Roman Reigns from the top of the cage. Punk saved Roman just in time. Later, Roman returned the favor by hitting a “Superman Punch” on Jacob Fatu to protect Punk.

They did the impossible after they won. Punk and Roman shook hands—something no one expected. Thanks to Paul Heyman, the OG Bloodline stayed united and stood tall together.
