Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will square off against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in an explosive tag team bout later on tonight at WWE Bad Blood. Despite the tense relationship between Reigns and Rhodes, the 39-year-old will not spare Sikoa any punishment for the mess he created while Roman was away from WWE. Right now, before the fight, the “OTC” gave his Bloodline opponents a strong warning.
Early Saturday morning, Roman Reigns sent a strong tweet to Bloodline saying, “Tonight we show them. No need for words. “#WWEBadBlood #OTC.” Cody Rhodes also added a threat, saying they would “dog walk” Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the big event.
Since he came back at SummerSlam, Reigns has been in a tough fight with Sikoa’s group, which includes Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu. The former member of Shield is facing significant challenges due to the Bloodline’s two severe attacks on him.
So, on September 13, 2024, Reigns and Rhodes decided to team up against Sikoa and Fatu in their match at Bad Blood.
Cody Rhodes shares why he respects Roman Reigns deeply
It’s been two years since Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns fought at WrestleMania. The heat between them hit its peak when Rhodes stopped Reigns’ incredible four-year title run at WrestleMania 40.
Now, Rhodes and Reigns are teaming up to fight Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood 2024, even though they used to be rivals. In a recent interview, the American Nightmare candidly said he admires Reigns and has discovered new talents because of him.
The WWE Universal Champion said, “Roman has my utmost respect. If anything, he pulled something out of me that I didn’t know I had. I hope I did the same for him,” said Cody Rhodes.”
