The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle was filled to capacity on September 13th as WWE SmackDown made its highly anticipated debut to the USA Network. The night began with COO Triple H kicking off the main event.
With the Steel Cage lowered for the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, the stage was set for jam-packed action. However, the night’s biggest surprise came when Roman Reigns, the Original Tribal Chief, made his entrance into the WWE SmackDown arena.
After being sidelined for several weeks due to an attack by Jacob Fatu, the former Universal champion made a surprising return during the first steel cage match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. Rhodes emerged victorious against Sikoa with a final Crossrhodes after a fierce battle. However, immediately after the match, the Bloodline launched an attack on Rhodes.
With Jacob Fatu perched on the cage, the already thrilling situation became much more intense when “OTC” Roman Reigns stepped in to save Rhodes. Reigns’ return as an ally turned the post match show into an unforgettable showdown.

The most surprising twist of WWE SmackDown’s opening segment was Reigns’ decision to assist Cody Rhodes and stand against The Bloodline. This shocking development made the rest of the evening incredibly thrilling, and fans are still talking about how Reigns helped Rhodes even though they were against each other at WrestleMania 40.
