Roman Reigns Remembers Family Legend In Serious SmackDown Segment

Roman Reigns’ part-time era seems to be over after his long break following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Now, WWE is featuring him regularly on SmackDown. This Friday night, Reigns made a special appearance and shared something emotional on the mic—something he hadn’t spoken about since becoming the Tribal Chief.

Recently, veteran wrestling reporter Bill Apter praised Roman Reigns’ emotional speech on SmackDown. In the last part of the segment, Solo Sikoa challenged Reigns, and Roman walked in such a way that looked like he was ready to kneel but instead shared an emotional moment.

Roman talked about promising his dying father, Sika Anoa’i, to bring the family back together. On the recent “Smack Talk,” Apter called this moment a brilliant move by WWE. He noted it was the first time Roman spoke about his father’s passing on TV, making him more relatable to fans.

Bill Apter said, “Did you notice that Roman, he talked about that he promised his father, Sika, that he would get the family back together again. That’s the first time he’s acknowledged something about his father’s death since this happened a while ago. It’s very powerful.”

Roman is truly GOAT because he brings family depth to the whole Bloodline plot, keeping the audience’s interest. While Solo Sikoa focuses on power only, Roman proves once again that he is the true Tribal Chief.

Solo Sikoa takes down Roman Reigns in SmackDown main event

Roman Reigns promised Jimmy Uso he would acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Chief, but when the moment came on “WWE SmackDown,” he backtracked at the last minute.

When he entered the ring, it seemed like he would accept Solo’s leadership, but in true Roman fashion, he refused. This led to a brutal beatdown by Solo and his new Bloodline faction.

Given his limited manpower, the question now arises as to how Roman will retaliate and take control in the upcoming SmackDown episodes.
