The absolutely shocking way in which tonight’s SmackDown episode ended—with Jey Uso finally turning on Roman Reigns—shall be remembered for a very long time. The Tribal Chief and his Right Hand Man supported Jimmy over his brother as the Bloodline was split in two.
The Usos are currently enjoying their resurgence as babyfaces, even though the effects of Jey’s acts are still unknown. A video of them hugging and declaring they had each other’s backs was shared on Instagram by the official WWE account.
Jey Uso’s emphatic farewell to the Bloodline
In the main event segment, Jey Uso decided to leave the Bloodline and blast Roman Reigns with two superkicks, one of which he co-ordinated with his dear brother Jey. Roman Reigns’ return was teased on SmackDown as Jey Uso deliberated whether or not to leave the Bloodline.

Jey lost last week in a United States Championship battle because Jimmy unintentionally super-kicked him, putting a line in the sand for Jey. The error raised the question of whether Jey will desert his own brother or the Bloodline. Jey Uso reposted it in his Instagram story and added the following two-word message and blood emoji: “ON ME,” wrote Jey Uso.

A tag team match will be scheduled at Money in the Bank as a direct result of Jey’s betrayal of Roman Reigns. Solo Sikoa and The Usos vs. Reigns might be the main events of the high-end live show in London. Things may become much more dramatic in the coming weeks if there is no obvious winner.
Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso trilogy to culminate at Summerslam
At SummerSlam, The Tribal Chief will probably defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against a challenge from one of The Usos. Who wins the match is still up in the air, but based on the previous three years of The Bloodline plot, one of them would be the clear favorite.
Jey has previously competed against Roman Reigns and nearly won the Universal Title twice in 2020. Does he also aspire to hold the coveted position of “Tribal Chief”? Jimmy served as the “cause” he lost both times.
Fans are therefore begging them to finish the trilogy at SummerSlam, especially because there will be a live audience this time. Yet whether this results in The Tribal Chief’s legendary rule coming to an end is another matter.
