The latest Royal Rumble event shocked the audience with one of the greatest storylines. The bond between the Bloodline and Sami Zayn has been broken after Sami betrayed the tribal chief. With that, WWE is cooking up new plans for WrestleMania.
The company is currently trying to pit Sami Zayn against Roman Reigns in a one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber 2023.
The conflict between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens took place last night at the Royal Rumble. It was expected to be the end of The Bloodline and Sami Zayn’s arc.
The story, however, took a dramatic turn following the bout between the undisputed WWE universal champion and the former ROH world champion. The Bloodline stormed the stage after Roman won the match and began pounding on the 38-year-old.
As things got out of hand, Sami intervened and stopped them.

Following that, El Generico betrayed the tribal chief, which led to the fight between the Bloodline and Zayn. However, it didn’t last long, and quickly the former NXT champion got pounded by the WWE tag team champion’s members.
It was a real shock for many in the audience, which reminds them of the Shield breakup back in 2014. Furthermore, Jay Uso did not join them and instead departed from the ring in silence. The late development in the narrative has startled the entire WWE fandom.
Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is now as confirmed as it can be for the Feb 18 Elimination Chamber show main event in Montreal.

Although it just didn’t stop there, afterward, it turned out that WWE is actually planning on going further with this storyline. The rumor has it that WWE is cooking up a one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber between Roman and Zayn. Elimination Chamber 2023 takes place in Zayn’s Montreal, Quebec, Canada, hometown on February 18.
This alone is enough to solidify the rumors. Moreover, fans want more from the organization. It seems the majority of fans want Sami to challenge the undisputed WWE universal champion at WrestleMania 39.
