Rookie Marvin Harrison Jr.’s NFL Performance Attracts Attention From LeBron James

The NBA and NFL are two of the country’s most popular sports, and fans and stars from each league often praise each other’s performances across various platforms. A recent example of this cross-sport admiration is NBA legend LeBron James, who recently showed his support by reacting to rookie NFL star Marvin Harrison Jr.’s impressive play.

Arizona Cardinals rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., a standout from Ohio State and the fourth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, could not shine enough in his very first week. However, he bounced back in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, scoring his first NFL touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams.

In the first quarter alone, he caught four passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns. This impressive performance caught the eye of many, including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who shared his reactions on social media.

LeBron James did not attend the game in person, but he certainly followed Marvin Harrison Jr.’s performance. In his IG story, James posted, “Marvin Harrison Jr is living up to the hype with these insane TDs,” with a caption that read, “H.I.M. Still!!!”

Harrison has yet to respond to LeBron James’ comments publicly, but he probably likes the praise.

LeBron James slammed NFL field conditions

During last week’s Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles game at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, the field seemed as slick as a slip-and-slide. The problem wasn’t rain but rather a poorly maintained surface. Coach Nick Sirianni and Matt LaFleur were both worried about the safety of their players.

Following the game, NFL figures and even LeBron James took to social media, expressing his frustration with the field conditions. James tweeted, “Man this field sucks!!! GB vs PHI.”
