Dalton Kincaid, the recent addition to the Bills family is on the buzz since the rookie kept his juvenile toe in this season’s minicamp. Even before hitting the actual war zone in NFL games, this tight end is amassing a huge pack of appreciation.
The player is a former San Diego and Utah player who was named First Team All-Pac-12 during his college career. In the 2023 NFL draft, he was selected as the first round twenty-fifth overall pick. Some of the weighted Bills stars including TE Knox and QB Josh can’t hide their excitement to play by the side of this young energetic rookie.
Dalton Kincaid awes Bills stars in minicamp
Dalton, the new refreshing face of the Bills appeared in this season’s OTAs. There he got the opportunity to break the ice getting acquainted with the stars of his new family. The rookie got to practice alongside quarterback Josh Allen and tight end Dawson Knox.
In his first collaboration with his teammates, he managed to keep his cool and offered some glimpses of how his athletic persona is going to be in the future. And guess what? Almost everyone was impressed by the reflection of his formidable force.

Kincaid reportedly “impressed” several teammates including Josh Allen and Dawson Knox.
Von Miller even said this, unprompted, after a minicamp practice.

Hear out what Allen has to say regarding his newly recruited fella, “When he catches the ball, knifing up forward. And then you look at his catch radius, he makes some pretty unreal catches. I was very excited to be able to work with him. He’s young, he’s very talented, he’s got a lot of room to grow but his ceiling is very high and we’re excited to have him on our squad”.
The current tight end, Dawson who is under a four-year $52 million contract with the team was also left struck by this new counterpart’s talents. He went above and beyond to express his ideas over his efficiency. In his own words, “He had like 16 catches in one game in college. I think that was like my whole senior year. So yeah, very, very impressive”.
Kincaid’s college football stats
The Greenhorn spent his entire college career playing for San Diego and Utah. In his freshman man year, he held a record of 374 yards and 11 TDs in 24 catches. Kincaid ended the season with 44 receptions for 835 yards which paved the way for him to the AP FCS All-American title.
Later, after getting transferred to Utah, he utilizing his high-gear mode attained 70 receptions, 890 receiving yards, and 8 TDs in the last season. The footballer’s first season there was cut short due to the Pandemic.
