Due to their loss in yesterday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Minnesota Timberwolves were unable to clinch the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, thus the team of Anthony Edwards bagged too many grudges from their fans.
Due to Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels’ absences, it appears that the Timberwolves were defeated before the game even started. Rudy was suspended after punching his teammate Anderson, and Jaden broke his hand after punching a wall during Sunday’s game, so both of them were unable to attend the Timberwolves’ biggest game of the year.
However, the Lakers ultimately prevailed, defeating the Timberwolves 108-102 in overtime despite holding a lead for almost the entire second half. For Minnesota, five players scored in double figures. Karl-Anthony was the team’s top scorer with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists, but from the fourth quarter onward, foul trouble became a problem.
LeBron James of the Lakers, in contrast, took the lead with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Anthony Davis, who contributed 24 points and 15 rebounds, helped King James to grasp the match. For Minnesota, it was, however, a complete nightmare.

Following the defeat, Minnesota fans went online and attacked the team mercilessly for their terrible loss. Since Anthony appeared to be cleared off his game reluctant to seize control of the game late in the game, they held the center accountable for the defeat.

Some supporters accused him of being to blame for ruining their interest in football. Over 43 minutes, Edwards finished with nine points, eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and one steal.
With better room for players to move around without Gobert in the lineup, the Timberwolves’ offense actually flourished for a large portion of the game. However, the player also received a lot of backlash for his aggressive behavior, resulting in his suspension from the internet community.
Most hilariously, some online users accused the team of losing the game on purpose because of Rudy, in their opinion.
