Ryan Garcia captured the World Boxing Council interim lightweight title in 2021. He is also recognized for his social media presence and close connections with social media influencers. Ryan frequently partnered with well-known influencers to create content and boost engagement on his social media accounts.
He is notorious for stating outrageous things that gain media attention. Ryan has thrown another verbal jab, this time aiming at YouTuber Logan Paul and his business partner, professional boxer KSI.
Ryan Garcia takes sly dig at Logan and KSI’s Prime
Ryan Garcia shot at the successful energy drink brand that KSI and his business partner Logan Paul had launched. Prime Energy was launched in 2023, containing 200 mg of caffeine. Prime Energy shares several flavors and all flavors are in high demand.
The drink is in high demand because of the popularity of the two founders. Just like a highly anticipated fight, the demand for this product has been overwhelming since its release. As a result, prices have been pushed up on reseller websites due to the limited supply.
In his Twitter post, he says that Prime is disguised as a healthy energy drink but in reality, it can kill you. Fans find it very strange that Ryan randomly decided to talk about Prime Energy being injurious to health.
This enraged Logan Paul fans and they decided to argue with Ryan on Twitter, showing their love for Logan. Ryan, however, said he did not want anything to do with Logan Paul in general.
Ryan also tried to defame the energy drink and its founders by claiming that the drink had cyanide mixed in it.
Garcia also said that Logan Paul was an agent of Satan, and those who purchased the Prime drink from his company were also “serving Satan.”
Logan and KSI’s Prime got served with lawsuit
A consumer class action had been filed against YouTube personalities Logan Paul and KSI in August 2023 due to claims that their sports drink Prime Hydration is mislabeled as “healthy” despite the fact that it contains hazardous per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds that have been linked to cancer.
However, any information stating that the drink had amounts of cyanide mixed in it had never come up. The chances of another investigation into the company are very slim, as Ryan Garcia’s word cannot be used as a valid reason.
Do you think Prime Hydration is actually scamming people? Or is it really a healthy energy drink, as they claim? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below.
