Seahawks Struggle in Tough First Half, Trail 49ers 16-3 at Halftime

The first half of the Week 6 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks is over. The Seahawks are in a tough spot, trailing 16-3. After Geno Smith threw a key interception on the first drive, the Seahawks faced a tough start, but now the Niners are in control.

Smith made a good 30-yard pass to DK Metcalf, but the Seahawks couldn’t keep playing well. Meanwhile, the 49ers scored three times in their first four drives. On the other hand, the Seahawks’ attack had trouble getting going, with Geno Smith missing passes and Laviska Shenault fumbling the ball.

On defense, the Seahawks couldn’t stop the 49ers’ fast plays. Brock Purdy threw a 77-yard touchdown pass to Deebo Samuel, showing how poorly Seattle’s defense was playing.

Even though the Seahawks kicked a field goal before halftime, they were still losing by a lot. They needed to make big changes in the second half to avoid losing their third game in a row.

Seahawks vs 49ers injury updates

San Francisco’s running back, Jordan Mason, hurt his shoulder in the second quarter after a great 14-yard run. He tried to come back in the second half but still felt pain, so he had to sit out the rest of the game. The team is waiting to see how serious his injury is.
