Seth Rollins Talks About His Role Being Cut in Captain America: Brave New World

WWE stars have a good connection with Hollywood, with some taking small roles in movies and others switching from wrestling to acting. Former WWE champion Seth Rollins also seemed to be on this path, but it looks like his role in the special Marvel movie got cut at the last moment.

The final version of Captain America: Brave New World omitted Seth Rollins’s planned role. The movie stars Anthony Mackie as Captain America and Harrison Ford as U.S. President Ross/Red Hulk. In an interview after his match with CM Punk on January 6, Rollins explained that his role was removed because of big changes and reshoots in the film.

Rollins said to the host YouTuber Chris Van Vliet, “ I’m not in the movie. I will say unequivocally I’m not in the film. I do not want anybody to go to the film thinking, ‘I’m here to see Seth Rollins.”

He added, “I don’t want those two people to waste their time. I don’t want to misinform anybody or lead anybody astray. I am not in the film. It should be a good one. Marvel does a great job.”
