The Warriors are currently in 11th place in the West. The Warriors’ 9-10 record indicates that they have underachieved thus far this season. Not even the reigning NBA champs could have hoped for this kind of start. Moreover, the Warriors’ star, Klay Thompson, deserved a little blame as well. Following his latest monster game, NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal flipped his opinion out of nowhere.
Over the last several years, Thompson has been plagued by recurring ailments. There were 941 consecutive days he couldn’t play basketball. And everyone had given up hope that he might ever change again.
Apparently, Game 6 Klay did, as he had a career night against the Houston Rockets. He scored a career-high 41 points on 10 three-pointers. Both the media and NBA great O’Neal believed they owed Thompson an apology for their criticism of his play.
Diesel stated, “We definitely owe him an apology.” While he may feel that way, fans on the other hand seemingly did not. One fan tweeted, “No one owes him shit he dropped 40 on the worst team in the league it’s not special at all.”

There are a lot of people who think Klay Thompson’s big game was just a fluke since he played against the poorest club in the NBA. In spite of how true it was, it was a fantastic performance.
Shaq is among the individuals who have publicly apologized to Thompson for ignoring his warnings regarding his return. The Splash Brothers have found success, and Shaq is aware of his past mistreatment but feels no resentment. If the shooting guard continues this up, Big Diesel says he has every right to demand an apology (40:15 mark).
Supporters of the Golden State Warriors can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief at the five-time All-Star’s return to form. As the season progresses, Klay is scoring more points. His scoring has also increased from 12.3 to 20.7 points per game in the month of November.
