James, a local garage owner, recently poked at Shaq in an epsiode of In Depth with Graham Bensinger for bragging to have paid $155,000 for a bike he custom made for him.
Upon being confronted, the Hall of Famer replied, “Well, Jesse, the answer is I want to make you look good, I only paid 50, but I told them I paid a hundred so when they ask for the same bike, you tell them a hundred, your profit is a hundred.”
He went on to add, “I was looking out for you. Not for me. I want you to look good, Jesse. You know I love you.”
Shaq has a keen interest in vehicles and has collected a lot of them during his 19-year long NBA career. He can be called a pseudo collector for his interest in motor beasts and his love for customizing them. But in this case of James, Shaq only paid him $55,000 and came up with a funny reply to justify the bragging on his part.

In 2002, Shaq started diving into real estate business and purchased 21 housing communities in Colorado. He further went on to partner with a real estate development company and built a 22-storey skyscraper and named it “Shaq Tower.”
But it doesn’t end there, he further announced to build a 33-storey luxury holding in New York with multiple lounges and restaurants and called it “The House that Shaq Built.” If all his real estate projects are evaluated together, it comes down to a ridiculous $330 million which is the most expensive thing he owns.
