Former Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal is now in a similar situation after revealing his favorite all-time starting five, sparking outrage from LeBron James fans.

O’Neal has already stirred up controversy after recently criticizing Timberwolves’ center Rudy Gobert. Now, his selection for the all-time starting five has caused additional debate in the NBA world. 

In an interview with Sport Bild, Shaquille O’Neal named Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Julius Erving, Karl Malone, and himself as his top five, but there is no LeBron James.

He said, “When I got to the NBA, Michael Jordan dominated. Then came Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. But for me, the greatest of all time is Michael Jordan.”

His statement has sparked a heated online debate, with fans expressing outrage that LeBron James was left off the list.
