Despite the pain, the 31-year-old played throughout the entire 90 minutes. Post-match, he provided an update about the injury while addressing the reporters.
He said, “I am fine now, I don’t like to lie down [on the pitch] in the winter. At that moment [when he went down] I couldn’t feel anything on my foot. I’m fine, no injury.”

In South Korea’s opener, they clashed against Singapore in the capital of Korea at the World Stadium Seoul on November 16. The hosts faced no trouble against the 155th-ranked side in the FIFA rankings as they started their World Qualification campaign with a 5-0 rout over Singapore.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Korean number seven continued his red-hot goal-scoring form in his national team jersey as well. He scored a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box, contributing to the team’s third goal.
He has been the main scorer and is currently leading as the top goal-scorer this season for Spurs.
