UFC Vegas 72 was a night to remember for several fighters, as four competitors walked away with well-deserved performance bonuses. Among them were Song Yadong and Caio Borralho, who put on impressive displays to secure their bonuses.

Yadong faced off against Ricky Simon in a bantamweight bout that was expected to be a closely contested affair. But Yadong had other plans. Borralho lived up to the hype and then some, as he scored a spectacular rear naked choke in the third round to secure a Performance of the Night bonus. The Brazilian showcased his power and precision with a left hook that put Buckley to sleep.

Both Yadong and Borralho were understandably ecstatic about their bonus wins. Yadong, who hails from China, expressed his gratitude to the UFC and his fans for their support.

“This is a dream come true for me. I’ve worked so hard to get here, and to win a bonus in my first UFC fight is incredible. I want to thank my team, my coaches, and my family for their support,” Borralho said. Borralho also thanked Joaquin Buckley for accepting the fight. The Brazilian had a lot of respect for his opponent. ‘The Natural’ praised his opponent as a “tough fighter.”
Suffice it to say, UFC Vegas 72 was a memorable night for Yadong and Borralho. Both secured Performance of the Night bonuses for their impressive performances, which amounted to 50,000 USD. The two co-main events definitely lived up to the hype.
