The Worlds 2023 has just concluded and the League of Legends LCS 2024 is all set to be done in full swing. A new season’s start always promises heaps and bounds. Fans hope to get off to a good start and teams have been preparing for many months.
Only eight teams are remaining for the upcoming Spring Split 2024, with the withdrawal of Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians. The tournament is set to start on Saturday, January 20. CLOUD9 is one of the top teams participating in this tournament.
Who made the cut to CLOUD9’s LOL roster?
With the two great teams leaving the tournament, there are a total of eight teams: 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Dignitas, FlyQuest, Immortals, NRG, Shopify Rebellion and Team Liquid. Cloud9 has been priced as a favorite among fans ahead of LCS 2024 Spring.
CLOUD9’s new roster is rather surprising. They have potentially made a very powerful roster with a promising winning streak ahead.
The roster includes new players like mid laner Jang “EMENES” Min-soo along with Joseph Joon “Jojopyun” Pyun (Former Evil Geniuses’ player) and Philippe “VULCAN” Laflamme as support. The team’s other players are Top – Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami, Jungle – Robert “Blaber” Huang, ADC – Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol and Head Coach – Alfonso “Mithy” Aguirre Rodríguez, who were already a part of the epic dream team.
How many LOL championships CLOUD9 has won?
CLOUD9 is one of the most discussed teams in the upcoming LCS season in 2024. It showed an exemplary performance in 2023 and has reached a n evendeadlier lineup for the spring of 2024.
Cloud 9 is an esports organisation known for its success with numerous gaming titles. The organisation started with its popularity when it first won the 2013 Summer. They then won Spring 2014.
After a six-year drought in the League of Legends tournament, Cloud9 managed to crown themselves the Kings of North America tournament again in the 2020 Spring Split. 2021 Spring added to it’s fifth win.
The team took the cup home in the Summer Split and the Spring split in the years 2022 and 2023.
All the successes of the game have raised the organization’s reputation in the gaming world. The team has a lot of expectations due to its brilliant history and the upcoming roster for 2024.
