‘Stay away’ Seth Rollins labels CM Punk ‘cancer’ issues stern warning ahead of possible WWE return

Seth Rollins and CM Punk have been engaged in a feud for quite some time now, and it does not appear like it will end anytime soon, especially in light of recent comments made by Seth in anticipation of CM Punk’s possible return to WWE.

Punk and Rollins have been rivals for a very long time because their wrestling careers have taken a route that is strikingly similar. Both of the wrestlers got their start in WWE after being signed to the Ring of Honor roster. Rollins had his start in Florida Championship Wrestling, whereas CM Punk’s pro career began in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

It is debatable which of the two is the superior wrestler, but neither of their sizes was ever the factor that propelled them to prominence in the business. Despite this, their particular charismatic brilliance allowed them to become prominent fan favorites over the course of their careers.

During an interview with Senior News Editor Nick Hausman, Seth discussed his thoughts on the return of CM Punk to WWE. Though it was to be expected that he would not be overly friendly toward his former adversary, everyone was stunned by Seth’s sharp remark.

“Oh Philly Phil, stay away. Stay away, you cancer. Get away from me forever… Yeah, I don’t like Phil. I don’t like Phil — he’s a jerk. Did we just figure that out? Did we just figure that out? Everybody in the room is like, ‘Oh no, did he say that?’ Yeah, no, he’s a jerk. Come on. We figured it out over there, we knew it over here. I don’t want him back. Go do something else. Bye bye. Bye bye, see ya later.” said Seth in the interview.

Fans have been waiting for years to see Punk return to the ring, and there’s no one better than Seth to face the resurgent superstar.
