Steph Curry Injured: X-Ray Report Confirms No Serious Damage

The Warriors started the preseason well by easily winning their first two games. Despite playing limited minutes, Steph Curry impressed fans by making his famous three-pointers. However, during the game against the Kings, Steph had to leave the court due to a hand injury, causing major concern among Warriors fans.

Initial reports indicated that Curry had jammed his right index finger. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative, and the injury was deemed minor. Head coach Steve Kerr reassured everyone post-game, stating, “I was assured at halftime that it was fine. X-rays were negative. It wasn’t anything too concerning. But yeah, you always get nervous when he’s hurt”

While the injury appears to be minor, the Warriors are expected to exercise caution with their star player, especially with the regular season just around the corner. Curry is listed as day-to-day and could be back in action soon, possibly in the upcoming preseason games against the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers

Warriors secure victory despite Steph Curry’s injury scare

Even though Klay Thompson didn’t play, the Warriors won all three preseason games and looked really good. Steph Curry didn’t play much, but his teammates stepped up, and they helped them beat the Kings 109–106.

Moses Moody scored 23 points, and Jonathan Kuminga scored 19 points, showing he can be a key player this season. Curry scored six points, got three rebounds, made four assists, and blocked one shot before leaving the game.

This win shows the Warriors can play well even without their star players. Fans are excited for the 2024-25 NBA season and the next game against the Detroit Pistons.
