Stephen A Smith on OnlyFans Superstar Sophie Rain Earning More than Top NBA Superstars

The NBA’s top players earned $4.9 billion last year, but another industry surpassed that with $6.6 billion in 2024, which is unfortunately an adult industry. Social media star Sophie Rain recently shocked everyone by revealing her massive OnlyFans earnings. Sports analyst Stephen A Smith didn’t hold back, expressing disbelief that Sophie out-earned pro athletes.

Sophie Rain, a popular OnlyFans creator, earned an amazing $43 million last year, surprising everyone online. Sports commentator Stephen A Smith shared his frustration on his podcast, saying she made more money than many NBA stars.

He even showed a chart comparing her earnings to players like Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, and Kyrie Irving. He said, “More money on OnlyFans. Then many of the NBA’s biggest stars, Ladies and gentlemen, look at this list right here. Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Anthony Edwards. Look at the money that they’re making 43, 43, 43, 42 million for Anthony Edwards, right?”

Smith also noted that in 2023, OnlyFans content creators collectively earned $6.6 billion, surpassing the total salaries of all NBA players combined. He explained, “This platform has grown so much that in 2023. OnlyFans content creators earned a total of $6.6 billion, which exceeds the total of salaries earned by the entire National Basketball Association, which was at $4.9 billion according to BasketballForever.”

Interestingly, Smith makes fun of the horniest person who literally gifted Sophie around 5 million, and unfortunately, NBA athletes don’t have that luck.

In his latest podcast, Stephen A. Smith also joked after Sophie Rain shared that her biggest spender, “Charlie,” gave her $5 million. Sophie thanked him with a post saying, “Big thank you to my top spender for being there since the beginning 🫶🏻.”

Smith, never one to hold back, joked, “I guess he might be the horniest man in America, huh?”” His funny comment added some humor to the debate about digital earnings and sports salaries.
