Stephen Curry Overcomes Injury, Leads Warriors to Tough Win

On Thursday, the Golden State Warriors went head-to-head with their 2022 NBA Finals challengers, the Boston Celtics. Curry, returning from an injury, put on a fantastic show, which led the Warriors to a 118-112 victory on the road. After being out for a week with a left ankle strain, he came back strong, scoring 27 points, with 21 of those points coming in the second half.

Curry’s return was amazing. He had a slow start but found his groove in the second half, scoring important points to keep the Warriors in the lead. He made 8 out of 17 shots, hit 4 of 9 three-pointers, and was perfect from the free-throw line, making 7 out of 7. He also had nine assists, seven rebounds, and four steals.

The Warriors showed outstanding teamwork in this tough game, with multiple key players reaching double-digit scores against the Celtics. Andrew Wiggins and Buddy Hield each scored 16 points, while Kyle Anderson and Jonathan Kuminga added 11 and 10 points.

With this win, the Warriors now have five consecutive victories and are 7-1 on the season. Celtics fans might say the Warriors got lucky because Jaylen Brown wasn’t playing.

Stephen Curry passes Charles Barkley for all-time NBA scoring

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has set a new milestone by passing Charles Barkley on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. He achieved this during Wednesday night’s game against the Boston Celtics, reaching 23,774 career points in the third quarter.

Curry’s path to this record has been incredible. Drafted 7th overall in 2009, he has delivered standout performances year after year, winning MVP awards and championships. His unmatched shooting skills make him one of the most dangerous scorers ever.

Kings forward DeMar DeRozan, with a total of 23,760 points, has the opportunity to surpass Curry in the upcoming game against the Toronto Raptors later that evening. If this happens, then Curry’s 29th position will be very short-lived.
