The Netflix debut of WWE Raw was a huge hit, with fans excited since it was announced last month. The hype grew even more because it was a special New Year’s event.
But while fans got the exciting moment they were hoping for, WWE superfan Vanessa Hudgens got her extra special moment before the show, after the year’s first SmackDown show.
The “High School Musical” star lived out every wrestling fan’s dream when she stepped into the WWE ring for the first time ahead of the Raw debut on Netflix. She called the experience “a dream come true.”
After the show ended, Cody Rhodes called Vanessa Hudgens, who was attending the event with her husband Cole Tucker, into the ring. Speaking to Fox News, she shared, “Cody Rhodes personally called me out after they went off air, and I got to go into the ring and ‘yeet.’ Dreams really do come true, y’all,” the “High School Musical.”
WWE’s social media shared the exciting moment, showcasing Hudgens’ joy as she climbed into the ring. Surprised at first, she quickly joined in, leading the crowd in the “yeet” chant. WWE also shared the moment when Rhodes asked Hudgens if she knew “the thing.”
