Ten-time NBA All-Star Stephen Curry Helps Sabrina Ionescu Perfect Her Unique Shot

One special shot can change everything for a player, and for Sabrina Ionescu, that shot is her floater. This season, her game has improved a lot because Stephen Curry helped her make this tricky shot even better. Their partnership has drawn attention from fans and analysts, showing Curry’s mentorship and sportsmanship at its finest.

After Sabrina Ionescu’s first year ended because of an injury, things changed for her. She was really good at a shot called the floater in college, but her hurt foot made it hard to do. She said, “I’ve always had it… I think having an injury on my left foot derailed me from being able to use that.”

Even though she felt down, she stayed hopeful about coming back. With Stephen Curry’s help, she brought the floater back into her game. At the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, Sabrina and Curry looked great together.

She praised Curry’s floater skills, saying, “He does it the best.” Even though Curry won the 3-Point Challenge with a score of 29 to her 26, they clearly respected each other.

Stephen Curry shines with nine points in Warriors’ game against Clippers

Stephen Curry helped the Warriors win 91-90 against the Clippers in a preseason game. He scored nine points and had two assists, one rebound, and one steal in just 14 minutes. Even though he didn’t play much, he was the top scorer among the starters.

Coach Steve Kerr used this game to try out new player combinations. Curry and De’Anthony Melton played together in the backcourt. Moses Moody scored 12 points, and Lindy Waters III made the game-winning three-pointer.
