UFC Middleweight Paulo Costa has dissed his future opponent Luke Rockhold saying that the nurse has a better chin than the former champion.
The war of words between Paulo Costa and Luke Rockhold seems to have started with Costa initiating the first hit. The Brazilian is set to fight the former Middleweight champion, even though nothing official has been announced.
But as of recently, the official announcement seems imminent as both parties have talked about receiving contracts from the UFC. With so much media speculation going on, it will be surprising if the fight did not happen.
Even though there is no official announcement as of yet, Costa has already launched the first attack at Rockhold. The former title contender believes that a nurse has a better chin than the 37-year old veteran.

Costa could be taking a dig at Rockhold’s knockout losses. He has been knocked out four times in his professional career, with two of those KOs coming in his last two fights. Rockhold’s last KO came against Jan Blachowicz in 2019, and he ahs not fought since. It has been been almost three, years, so he will will looking to make a mark once he returns to the octagon.
Costa himself was brutally knocked out by Israel Adesanya when he fought for the title. He has also lost his last fight against Marvin Vettori. The Brazilian was undefeated till he faced Adesanya, and now has two straight defeats. He will be looking to turn things around when he faces Rockhold.
