The Rock’s Busy Schedule: New Deal with 20th Television Shows Why He’s Hard to Book for WrestleMania 41

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is currently a businessperson more than a wrestler and actor. That’s why his packed business schedule has always been a topic of discussion, especially considering everyone’s desire to see him appear in Wrestlemania 41.

Fans have always had a problem with those old reports that claimed Brahma Bull is too busy to appear in PLE events. Meanwhile, his recent deal with 20th Television has made it clear again why it is challenging to book him for major events like WrestleMania.

Recently, The Rock’s production company, Seven Bucks Productions, has made a deal with 20th Television, a part of Disney TV Studios. This deal will let his company create different types of shows, like comedies, dramas, and even adult cartoons, for TV and streaming platforms.

In addition to this, he has made investments in WWE. That’s why he currently serves as a board member of TKO. There he also portrayed the character of a business personality. Plus, he has a busy schedule with many movie projects lined up.

Because of all these commitments, it’s harder for The Rock to be available for WWE events, like the highly awaited WrestleMania 41. While fans eagerly await his return to the ring, The Rock’s commitments to his production company and various film projects have limited his availability.

The good news is that The Final Boss is still trying to be part of the show. Even though he can’t wrestle right now, he decides to be in the storyline and make a real impact in “Final Boss” style.

How will The Rock impact WrestleMania 41 without competing?

At the SmackDown press conference last Friday night, The Rock hinted that he won’t be wrestling for now but will still be part of WWE storylines. He said a match with Cody Rhodes isn’t needed, explaining, “The Final Boss and Cody’s story isn’t about a title or even a match.”

He added, “I think to have a storyline and two characters that are very popular, to never have to get in the ring for a match, and have this compelling and off-putting thing ‘he wants his soul’, what does that mean? I loved every moment.”

This indicates The Rock will stay involved in WWE storylines, even if he won’t wrestle. Some fans might be disappointed, but at least The Final Boss will still play a role at WrestleMania 41.
