Since his appearance in RAW’s Netflix debut, everyone was shocked by his friendly behavior. Everyone expected The Rock to start a feud with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. But instead, he acted nice while interacting with them.
However, after his appearance on WWE NXT New Year’s Evil tonight, it looks like the “Final Boss” side of him is still there, and he’s planning something big that no one knows about.
As WrestleMania 41 approaches, there’s still no sign of tension between The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes, aside from a humorous comment about “Mama” Rhodes. Fans were confused by his calm behavior on RAW, and when he entered on NXT, it seemed Rock knew that.
During his promo on NXT, The Rock reacted to fans chanting his name, joking that they shouldn’t make him emotional. He also responded to the criticism of his friendly interaction with Cody Rhodes at the RAW Netflix debut.
He mocked fans, saying they told him to be nice to Cody, but now they’re saying not to. Dropping an F-bomb, he reminded everyone that he’s the “Final Boss.”

He stated, “At the end of the day, let us all remind them that The Rock is the Final Boss, thinking 20 steps ahead, so the best thing for them to do is to know their role, shut their mouth, and enjoy the ride that The Rock is taking them on.”
His last message made one thing clear: “The Final Boss” has something big planned, and no one in the WWE community can predict what it is.
The Rock slams NXT timer during his promo
During his electrifying promo at WWE NXT’s New Year’s Evil event, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson didn’t hold back in expressing his frustration with the event’s time constraints. The Rock addressed the crowd with some F-bomb, making it clear that he was not pleased with the limited time he was given.
He said, “It says we got about two minutes left. They say we got two minutes, I’m like, f*ck all that. We’re gonna go all night. Oh, they’re sweating. It’s okay, it’s okay. Alright, I’m sorry for the language, I apologize.”
The Rock made it known he had minutes left before the show would go off the air at the 2 hour point and basically “fuck that” and ended up closing exactly at the end of the 2 hour point.
